Since then he has worked in private practice in Sydney, as Section Head of the Restorative Dentistry Department of the United Dental Hospital, including a teaching role for the University of Sydney, as a contract dentist working for the Army until he joined the team at Kawana Dental.

Murray is a surf life saving patrol captain at Kawana Surf Club, and his children are enjoying nippers there. He is a ski paddler and spends much of his spare time out on the ocean. He remains in the Army Reserve and gets away a few times a year as a field dentist in support of large-scale exercises.

Murray has almost 30 years experience in clinical dentistry. He has an excellent rapport with his patients, a very caring nature and gentle hands. Murray is especially good with prosthodontics and is excellent at treating patients who have or need partial/full dentures.
